Action for Rural India
At ISH, we strongly believe in mainstreaming rural parts of the country. Many rural areas in our country still struggle for basic amenities of health, water and education which is a huge hindrance in development of the country.
As an effort by ISH for rural India, we have initiated weekly medical camps at village Godhavi near Ahmedabad city. These camps are conducted by Dr. Harish Joshi at a minimal cost and has led to great relief amongst the occupants especially relief in basic ailments. We hope we will be able to expand this programmes to other villages in the near future and work towards Babaji mission of “To Serve is the Nature of Divine”.

Medical Camp
We conduct weekly medical camps at our Ahmedabad Centre. These camps are conducted by Dr.Harish Joshi (Guruji) , the divine chosen to provide his guidance on a number of medical problems. Guruji gives his advice on a number of diseases ranging from cancer, infections, psychosomatic disorders, heart ailments, etc. His guidance is a combination of a number of medical systems best suited to the patient. Guruji’s prescription range from Allopathy, Ayurveda, Tibetan Medicine and sometimes Homeopathy.

Old Age Home
At ISH we firmly believe that children must take care of their parents. It is imperative that children do that if they want to get out of the bondage of karma with respect to their parents. Babaji has decreed that after the spouse, children should fulfill their responsibilities towards their parents to complete their runanuband. Needless to say, fulfilling the duties towards parents is an important step towards spiritual growth.
ISH Foundation has adopted Old Age Home at Ahmedabad. Dr. Harish Joshi (Guruji) with his disciples provide basic medical care and counselling services weekly. The medicines here are provided at a nominal rate or are many times free of cost.
Save Girl Chil
A woman is an integral part of evolutionary process. In our tradition, a woman is revered- it is said “Nari hi Narayani”- A woman is God. She is “Shakti” (strength). A woman influences physical, mental, social and spiritual growth of the family/individual, either directly or indirectly.
We are working towards creating a society where Shiv (Man) and Shakti (woman) realize their own distinct qualities and work towards the development of themselves, nation and society. We motivate women to be empowered to speak against injustice and empower others. Women have the full right to fulfill their dreams against all odds.
Holding up these ideals, we believe that the girl child must be saved. We also conduct counselling sessions for parents/family who consider themselves “unfortunate” because of having a girl child.
Women Empowerment
At ISH, a woman (Shakti/Strength as Babaji says), is an integral part of evolutionary process of mankind. In our tradition, the woman is revered since she is the backbone of a family structure and the strength behind creation. In fact she is the creator & influences physical, mental, social and spiritual growth of a culture.
We motivate women to be empowered to speak against injustice and empower others. Women have the full right to fulfill their dreams just like anyone else. Along with this, women are encouraged to be on the spiritual path along with fulfilling her other responsibilities. One example which we look upon with reverence is our GuruMa, Dr. Kokila Joshi.
